Creative Writing
In this course, students will be given the opportunity to write unique stories and taught how to express a story in an engaging style. Students will be given open ended prompts, which will allow them the creative freedom to use their imagination. Additionally, grammatical tips and common writing mistakes will be woven into the coursework, while still providing the child with plenty of time for creative expression. Writing is at its best when the author is free to assert themselves, and when they are given less restrictions. Thus, the goal of this class is to celebrate and enhance ideas of the writer, rather than give narrow requirements for their work. This course is available to all students in grades K-5!
