Naadia Rashid
Instructor for Creative Writing
Naadia Rashid is a junior at Maggie L Walker's Governor's School, and is so excited to be sharing her love for creative writing with others. Outside of school, Naadia volunteers as an EMT and at a hospital, teaches tennis lessons, and is passionate about reading. At school, Naadia is the secretary of the National English Honor Society, the captain of the tennis team, a varsity volleyball player, and is involved with the Maggie Walker MUN club. Naadia has lots of experience with elementary school-aged children, as she enjoys babysitting and working as a camp counselor over the summer. Naadia believes that writing is a hobby and a passion that anyone can enjoy, since no prior experience is necessary. Through her class, she hopes to inspire others to branch out of their comfort zone, and to provide a welcoming environment for self expression.
